Mr. Vijyendra kumar sethi
Every day when I walk into Shri Digamber Jain Higher Secondary School, I feel a sense of honor, delight and a sac hered responsibility. The children we serve are in the most formative period of growth and development in their lives! To be able to touch their development at such a fundamental level is something we take very seriously – in a fun and enticing way! Although much of what our young students learn at SDJS will not be consciously remembered, we know from the studies of brain growth and personality formation that we are influencing the foundations upon which all future development will be established! This is a responsibility that is not to be taken lightly.
We at shree Digamber jain School, believe that each child is unique and we value their uniqueness. Moreover, all the learning that a child acquires is not gained in school through a formal education, but he picks up much of his knowledge from various sources. Ample opportunities are provided to students to exploit their inherent talents and develop holistically. The sprawling lush green campus brings nature close to them. As said by Albert Einstein, “I never teach my pupils; I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn At the same time, it must be balanced so the children leave SDJS every day with the feeling that they love learning – and it is something they want to continue doing. I foresee a world, through our school and its pupils, which values ‘Sensitivity’. Respecting differences and valuing every individual for what he or she is, is how we will create a community which is free from the shackles of ego and hatred. Compassion for others, for nature and how it serves us, and welcoming individual differences is, and will be, the mainstay of our school.
Welcome to Shri Digamber Jain Higher Secondry School,
Education is a life-long learning process. Learning happens all the time; not only in a pre-designated place called the school. It happens in the home, between home and school too. The home’s and school’s mission therefore is to provide a learning environment and opportunities to the children as the learners.
Shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. At Shri Digamber Jain Higher Secondry School, Mandsaur , we aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds with an international perspective, preparing them to make a mark in the global village - the world has come to be today.
Our distinctive academic programmmes and innovative teaching methodologies encourage students to develop critical-thinking and learn through enquiry and reason, to exchange thoughts and ideas, to develop key personal and social values, to take ownership for his/ her choices and to set goals to realize their own unique potential.
Authentic education implies an on-going, continuous interplay between the five moments of context, experience, reflection, action and evaluation between parents, students and teachers. This is not to lead to mere information but to appropriation, integration into the very activity of Almighty within the created reality of our world but especially within each person. This then leads from information to transformation. The School by deepening a sense of wonder, reverence, creativity, fidelity, communication, openness and charity to each other and to the whole world seeks to work for the transformation of the complete person.
We value igniting the spark of creativity and curiosity in our students.
We strive to support this environment by building a more inclusive curriculum, addressing a range of learning styles and offering a wide array of diversity efforts and programs.

Teachers at our school effectively use an array of teaching strategies in order to make learning delightful and fun for students. Our vision has led us to endorse a learner-centric teaching methodology that focuses on “Discover – Experiment – Implement” model of learning that is practiced at all levels of the organization.
Step one of learning starts with the Discovery that leads to exploring unconventional ideas and angles to knowledge. Hands on experience through intriguing projects and exercises are vital aspects of this stage.
Stage two of learning path is enriched by experimenting. With their past knowledge and with the unconventional approaches discovered in the first step, students respond to the world through a newer, a deeper insight.
Stage three of learning, ‘implementation’, is the main objective of every learning process as knowledge is unaccomplished unless it is applied and used to bring change. At this stage, the teachers stimulate the implementation of ideas by fostering the change in actions, ideas and thinking.
