Our Labs
CHEMESTRY
Chemistry lab is the required component of all chemistry courses not only to give experiments their due place in the subject but also to promote in general, an experimental culture in the school system. In the chemistry lab students are expected to indulge in a creative interplay of observation, experimentation and theoretical inferences. Students are trained to use scientific instruments, make observations, interpret and draw conclusions from observed facts.
PHYSICS
Our state-of-the-art Physics laboratory is equipped with modern equipments to help the students learn the concepts of Physics with experiments. It is designed to give practice of taking measurements, analyzing data and drawing inferences while the students experiment.
BIOLOGY
Highly Spacious, Well Ventilated Lab Biology lab is well equipped with preserved specimens, slides, models and bio visual charts which emphasize on developing scientific temper among the students. Performing experiment is an interesting task. Students enjoy it as they learn something new from the results.
COMPUTER
Well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. Pre – primary kids learn words through PowerPoint presentations and innovative software.
SMART CLASS
We at the SDJS have always believed in keeping pace with the rapidly changing world of technology.we have smart room equipped with state- of- the art digital repository by a leading national brand. This aids in making the teaching-learning process more interesting, innovative, and interactive. The smart class system has in built modules for all the subjects right from pre-primary to the senior most classes.
IP LAB
Senior Computer Lab This lab is mainly used for programming and projects by the senior students. Computers are of latest configuration and version. All Computers are linked with LAN network and Informatics Practices and Multimedia and Web Technologies along with other computer software are taught to Class XIth and XIIth. Children are encouraged to prepare slides and presentations.
LIBRARY
Our library also makes our students aware of the dates of various common entrance exams for professional courses by displaying notices on the bulletin boards put up in the library. Current affairs, latest updates on various subjects are also included in these boards. Students are also encouraged to display their original articles, good thoughts on the notice boards inside the library. Teachers who are specialized in their subjects select the books and popular books by well known authors are viewed daily in the Newspapers and accordingly are purchased for the library for the benefit of the students.
Library is not restricted to books but its now-a-days called an Information Centre where a Librarian's work is to dissimilate knowledge."Books are the keys to the door of light and wisdom. Use it" ! KID'S BLOCK
The pre primary school comprising of the kindergartens and class 1 is a sheltered and cozy block. Planned to be light, airy and child friendly, the block has a computer room, smart class, assembly area, a multipurpose room with a stage, anti-skid flooring and play areas complete with toys and lots of space for children to claim as their own. Children will explore the adjoining nature zone with plant nurseries, petting area, sand pits.
